So you know how I play the solo for 7 nation army on bass...granted I never converted it to bass so the notes are wrong, but you know how it is. The point is, that because i never changed it to bass, I know exactly how to play it on guitar, meaning like finger position and stuff. Ron was trying to show Max the solo, and he didn't remember how to play it. So I, with bass in hand, tried to show Ron how to play it, but he didnt understand how this could possibly work, because the bass doesnt have the b or e strings. After I explained this enough so Max could understand, no offense to Max here, Ron still couldn't understand. I got angry, took Max's guitar and played and then I yelled at Ron.
Dan- Ron thought ur professor review thing was terrible because you sed bad stuff about the professor. Rons such a queer.

So anyway, yesterday was Ron's birthday. We celebrated by losing money. YAY!
Ron and I both lost in poker, it was sad. Today Max wants to come over and play guitar with Ron. I can only assume this will be hilarious. Max will finally find out that his guitar hero is no guitar hero indeed. I started playing Dragon Quest VI a couple of days ago...even though I'm not done with V yet...I guess I pulled a Ron with V, as in I got to the end and stopped. But anyway, thats pretty much all that has been going on in my sad pathetic life. Except that I picked classes the other day for next semester, and it looks like I could have 4 major intensive classes. The Econ class i wanted was full so I had to waitlist for that. So, until I figure out whether or not I'll get into it, I'm stuck with a business computer science class, a management class, a FINANCE and OPERATIONS management class, a legal studies class, and an accounting class. Guess which class I want to drop when I (hopefully) get into the econ class i want. yeah...its not too hard to figure out. if i dont get into the econ class I will end up having 3 (three) labs, which seems as though it would be brutal. Otherwise I will only have 2. Heres to hoping i guess.

Does anybody (Dan or Ron) know (remember) the name of any of the computer programs we used to create "music" in music tech (before menzies took over and sucked all of the fun out of the class)? If you did, and you posted it here, so that I could then find it and download it on my computer, I would then do you the favor of writing a song in your honor. How's that for celebration? AMHERST, Mass. (AP) -- Massachusetts made sure its first home game against a defending national champion was one to remember.
The Minutemen stunned seventh-ranked Connecticut 61-59 on Rashaun Freeman's layup with 4.3 seconds to play Thursday night. Many of the 9,037 fans stormed the court at Mullins Center after the final buzzer. It was the largest crowd in Amherst in four years.
``I felt like we won the national championship! I never saw a crowd like that around here,'' UMass guard Anthony Anderson said. ``We've been saying that this was our year. Maybe we showed it tonight.''
Freeman, who led UMass with 18 points and eight rebounds, came up big time and again for the Minutemen (3-2), who beat the Huskies for the first time in 14 meetings.
The Huskies (4-1) ran into a hostile environment on their first road trip of the season.
Freeman and his teammates outhustled the Huskies from the opening tip and got the best of UConn's frontcourt, which had been outrebounding opponents by 25 boards a game. The teams finished even with 39 rebounds each, but UMass had a slight edge on the glass in the first half and outscored Connecticut 42-24 in the paint for the game.
``I told them at halftime we outrebounded UConn. That's unbelievable,'' UMass coach Steve Lappas said. ``I also told them that we outscored them for a half, that's also unbelievable. Now the big challenge -- we've got to win the second half.''
The Huskies came back from a 12-point, first-half deficit and held a tenuous five-point lead late in the game.
But Freeman hit consecutive baskets with under four minutes left, pulling the Minutemen within 55-54.
Turnovers doomed the Huskies down the stretch. Antonio Kellogg dribbled the ball off his foot, and the Minutemen made him pay. Jeff Viggiano hit a 3-pointer with 55.2 seconds left to give UMass a 57-55 lead.
``It had to be my best basket at UMass,'' Viggiano said. ``It helps when your teammates get behind you.''
After UConn's Rudy Gay hit a pair of free throws to tie on the next possession, the Minutemen raced upcourt on the inbounds play and Art Bowers hit Freeman in full stride for the winner. For Freeman, the buzzer came just in time.
``I had leg cramps at the end,'' Freeman said. ``I really didn't want to go into overtime.''
It was UConn coach Jim Calhoun's first loss to UMass in his 19 years with the Huskies.
``They outworked us, outhustled us and we never really responded,'' Calhoun said. ``I couldn't be more disappointed.''
Rudy Gay had 13 points for UConn. Josh Boone added 12 and led the Huskies with nine rebounds.
The Minutemen dominated inside early and used a 14-1 run to put the Huskies in an early hole. Stephan Lasme and Freeman combined for eight points in the spurt. Viggiano's putback with 12 minutes remaining capped the run and gave UMass an 18-7 lead, bringing a thunderous roar from the crowd.
Lawrence Carrier hit a 3-pointer with 8:46 remaining to give UMass its largest lead at 25-13.
The Huskies finally got untracked and reeled off a 10-0 run. Gay and Rashad Anderson hit 3-pointers in the outburst.
Gay's two free throws with 2:24 left pulled the Huskies even at 27-all, and after a steal by Marcus Williams, the Huskies briefly grabbed the lead by a basket on Charlie Villanueva's dunk.
The Minutemen closed out the half on Bower's jumper to take a 31-29 lead at the break.
``It was a gutsy win for our kids,'' Lappas said.

Finally, I must ask the question. I pose this question to all of the people in this country that are addicted to this new drug. How much Halo 2 can you play before getting sick of it. Apparently an infinite amount. The game is absolutely ridiculous in excellence and superiority. Anyway, on to better things...Ron is coming to visit in a coupla days. That should be interesting, at least a little bit. Then I go home for the weekend, and one of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to that. I'm not looking forward to my math test tomorrow night. WOO! Just thought I'd try to excite both of the people that read this with a little "WOO!" action. Alright, well i finally got a B+ on an English essay. yay for me. I suck.

since dan said that i have to write real, new, informative, groundbreaking, head over heels in love with you, stuff in here i guess i will (that head over heels in love with you wasn't for dan though...sorry). well i guess there hasn't been that much going on with me recently. i'll work in a reverse chronological order going back to thursday night i guess. i beat mario 3 today. it was nasty. i had never done so b4. im a loser, i know, but oh well deal with it. bitches. earlier today i played punch out and i got to mike tyson (the final fight). i lost, he has 1 hit knockdowns. i woke up at 1045. I watched LOTR 2 with derek then went to bed. I had to go home because i cut my finger on my zipper when i was trying to pull it back up. Aviva wanted someone to go to the bathroom with her because she was afraid to go alone. Bill and I lost to Adam and Bret in beer pong. I went with them to Bret's dorm. Krista and Bill came to my room, krista to get a drink, billy to see my room. I don't remember what happened in this time interval, but at some point i woke up, and multo halo was played. I went to sleep. I was at bret's house watching them play beer pong. Krista gave me the rest of her terrible coke and vodka. Let me just say that it was 93% vodka and 6.8% coke. The other .2% was her saliva. i dont know that fo serious. im just guesstimating. i dont think i can really go back that far. my memory is shotty. sorry. well ill update again soon enough.
